Baltimore County Rental License
I will provide you with a Rental Inspection Sheet and Carbon Monoxide Verification Form at the time of the inspection, as well as date-stamped photographs of the front and back of the property. The Rental Inspection Sheet needs to be signed by me and you (the landlord), and the Carbon Monoxide Verification Form needs to be signed by you and the tenant. If the property has no fuel burning equipment (oil, gas or fireplace) you can check the "exempt" on the form and the tenant does not have to sign because carbon monoxide detectors are not required for that property.

Lead Inspection Certificate
The lead Inspection Certificate is a numbered form with the Inspection Certificate number in the upper right hand corner. Your MDE tracking number will appear in the upper left hand corner. You will need these two numbers to apply for your Baltimore County Rental License. All rental properties in the State of Maryland built before 1978 require a valid lead certificate.
